Target has a useful little holiday freebie coming up this Saturday: participating stores will hand out a free Holiday Bear keychain during the retailer’s Holiday Kick Off With Toys event.
This is an in-store promotion, not a mailed sample, coupon, rebate, or sweepstakes. Target’s official event page lists the event for Saturday, November 7, 2026, from noon to 4 p.m. at most participating stores.
What you can get
Guests can pick up one free Holiday Bear keychain while supplies last. Target also plans demonstrations of a LEGO Christmas Stocking, Puppetronic Pikachu, and the Mini Brands Tiny Vinyl Player in the toy department.
Important details
- Cost: Free. Target does not list a purchase, coupon, app, Target Circle membership, or paid membership requirement.
- Limit: One keychain per guest.
- Availability: While supplies last. A listed store and advertised event do not guarantee that keychains will remain when you arrive.
- Where: Participating Target stores only. Check Target’s official store list before making a special trip.
- Age rule: Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
- How to claim it: Visit a participating store during the event window and ask the event team where the holiday toy activities and giveaway are located.

Check Target’s participating-store list
Because this is a one-day, while-supplies-last event, it is worth checking that your store appears on Target’s list and arriving earlier in the event window if the keychain is the main reason for your visit.
Did you try this offer? Please share the good or bad: whether your store participated, whether the keychain was available, and anything that could help other freebie hunters.
